Question: "What does the Bible say about honor?" Answer: As a noun, honor in the Bible means “esteem, value, or great respect.” To honor someone is to value him highly or bestow value upon him. The Bible exhorts us to express honor and esteem toward certain people: our parents, the aged, and those in authority (Ephesians ; Leviticus ; Romans ).   While we can’t single-handedly revive honor across the country, we can live traditional honor the way it was created to be experienced at its most essential core – among a group of fellow men. Below, I humbly offer my suggestions for reviving traditional honor in the 21 st century.

The kind of man God intends for you to be: a man of honor. "If men will take this book to heart, they can tangibly measure their progress in godliness. I recommend it to any man who is tired of making excuses." --Tony Evans, pastor and featured Promise Keepers speaker "It has been my privilege to play with and coach men of honor. The story ultimately revolves around two "men of honor"; their relationship, their individual and joint failures and triumphs. Carl Brashear is determined to be the first African American Navy Diver in a time where racism is rife. Leslie Sunday is his embittered trainer, determined to see him fail.

This movie is based on the real-life exploits of Carl Brashear, the son of a poor Kentucky sharecropper. Carl is a dreamer, and he lets nothing stand in the way of those dreams. Unofficial: Men of Honor. 71 likes. Men of Honor is a compelling and powerful book proving insights and affirmations for all men. It is an essential for every man's library.
